The Aperta Acta Trust Seal
A five-star, self-assessed standard for how transparent a page is about its information. The criteria are public, so anyone can check the rating.
Self-assessed — and that is the point
This seal is a self-assessment, not a third-party certificate. It never implies independent certification. What makes it trustworthy is that everything needed to verify it is public: the criteria below, the sources we cite, and the date of assessment. Anyone can re-check the level.
Level 5 / 5 — self-assessed
Five axes
- A Sources
- Is every critical claim tied to a verifiable origin?
- B Dating
- Does every critical item carry a collection or review date?
- C Disclosure
- Are all commercial relationships disclosed?
- D Corrections
- Is there a reachable correction channel; are substantive corrections logged?
- E Auditability
- Can a third party verify the claims with the published means?
Five levels (cumulative)
Identified
Operator named, pages dated, legal pages present.
Sourced
Every critical claim names a source; commercial relationships disclosed.
Dated & Disclosed
Every critical data point carries a date; corrections channel reachable; YMYL labeled.
Auditable
Primary or official sources only — no unverified aggregation; methodology published; substantive corrections logged.
Fully traceable
Highest-tier sourcing (primary, official or peer-reviewed where applicable); reproducible by third parties; documented review cycle, conflict-of-interest statement and full change log.
ApertaActa.com is the transparency hub that publishes this standard. It names its operator, dates every page, discloses its funding model, keeps an open corrections channel, and publishes its methodology — and it is fully auditable. The only data points shown are example records, clearly labeled as such.
Full criteria: see the publishing standards and this page. Found something that does not meet the level? Tell us via the corrections channel — the rating will be lowered until it is fixed.
